We're healing

We live in a world that praises hyper-independence and self-isolation, yet quietly aches for connection. With Well Wagon, we’re reclaiming resilience through creativity and community. Art is our language, healing is our purpose — and together, we’re remembering how to belong.

My experience in community work has provided me with the skills needed to keep trying to relate to people from all walks of life in a person centred manner, through genuineness, congruence, empathy, unconditional positive regard. Through emphasizing on building relationships in the work, my aim is for the making process to feel vitalising for all people part in its’ creation.

Concept

The concept of Well Wagon came during lockdown as a consequence of the lack of support for people stuck in isolation, suffering from anxiety and with no coping mechanism.

Research

During this time I analysed the restrictions in place and found that a business "on the go" would be allowed, for a small group of people.

I researched successful businesses that utilised this model and implemented it in my vision, as well as studying the designs of the structures of existing transportable businesses.

Funding

I wrote a business plan and project proposal to apply for Bright Ideas Den at the University of South Wales.

I managed to secure a small pot of funding that covered the cargo and some wood for the structure.

Construction

With the money from BID, I ordered a bike cargo as a base to build the structure upon.

During Summer 2021 me and my father designed and built the workshop space using the same funds.

The whole structure is made of fir wood, the table folds out, seating three people comfortably and differently sized drawers to store art materials and other necessities.

The Well Wagon Way

Community Impact

Well Wagon is committed to healing that honours both people and the planet. Our workshops use sustainable in the materials and outreach, as we include donation based tickets, free ticket and sliding scale pricing for our workshops. Each gathering fosters creativity, emotional resilience, and collective care — empowering communities while nurturing a more connected and sustainable world.

Healing Environment

Well Wagon creates inclusive spaces where art supports healing, connection, and empowerment. Through collaborations with schools, organisations, and community venues, we offer sustainable, donation-based workshops that use up-cycled materials and promote creative coping tools. Guided by our belief in everyone’s creative potential, we aim to make the arts accessible and transformative for all.

Creative Reusability

At Well Wagon, sustainability is woven into every workshop. We use repurposed, recycled, found materials and locally sourced materials, reducing waste and supporting sustainable practices, to show that creativity doesn’t require excess — just imagination. By transforming everyday and discarded items into art, we encourage resourcefulness, reduce waste, and highlight the power of making something meaningful from what’s already around us.
